What should I expect?
This is YOUR session, and I want you to get the most out of your time with me. While some paperwork is a necessary -typically at the beginning of our therapeutic relationship - I tend to run my sessions very informally. If we are in person, you can make a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa, grab a seat on the couch or chair and relax! My space is meant to be calming and welcoming, but if something needs to be changed to accommodate you, please let me know! I want you to feel safe here.
What kind of appointments do you offer?
I offer in-office and virtual individual therapy sessions. Times may vary, but typical sessions will be an hour long. I do offer 30-minute and 45-minute sessions, too. Modalities will vary depending on need and concerns. If you choose to see me virtually, I will send you a link the day before! We can also do a hybrid schedule where you sometimes come in person and sometimes virtually, whatever works best for you. I only ask that if you are ill, we do a virtual appointment to avoid spreading the sickness around.
What types of insurance or payment do you accept?
I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Priority Health and McLaren Medicaid. Cash payments are also accepted.
